I guarantee you one thing....all the hosts that are left are realizing that if QVC let Antonella go, then they will let anyone go. I bet some of the remaining hosts are "shaking in their boots" right now and I bet you can tell which ones they are if they are different in their presentations on air than they were in the past. Well, we shall see.

I do feel that this is just the first hammer to come down. Something tells me there will be more hosts gone by the end of this year.

@kittykatkay ..... I don't think all the hosts are thinking they might be let go or "shaking in their boots". I think a few might be a little over confident though one hasn't seemed too happy lately.

Downsizing at this time is obviously a business decision that a lot of businesses are having to make. No company can keep paying workers when they find it necesary to downsize. None of us actually know how and why they chose who goes so everything is pure speculation.

I've never heard of Ali Carr, either, or numerous other hosts mentioned on this board from time to time so I guess I'm way behind the times too.

I also didn't know that the ones being let go had already been gone. It's kind of crummy to just remove people so quickly unless they did something horribly wrong.

Doubtful...but at least Antonella didn't use the standard post "leaving to spend more time with my family"...

quite frankly, if these hosts were not dismissed especially Antonella who is quite talkative would have at some point while still on air announce it themselves.

Jill Bauer announced it and then she stayed on to do her last week, if I recall. Now her reasoning if I recall "spend more time with family, Trevor's baseball....blah blah blah". Obviously, that lasted a few months she then hooked up with Jill Martin (GILI brand) and does segments on Today Show doing various home & lifestyle segments. (I never thought she was a lifestyle or home decorator🤷‍♀️). And she also had guest FB chats.

Frankly, these recent departures I doubt were planned by them☹️.

I know many hosts have been there since the beginning and I wonder since TV personalities they have "clause" in the contracts.
