Wild swings in pricing

I ordered a DB jacket #A392375 on 1-18. It was a new item and I had not received it so I checked to see if any reviews. I paid $120.98 and on the 23rd the price had dropped to $106.25. Today on the 27th the price is $132.98.

I guess we should routinely price check ordered items.

I've noticed when they have free shipping the prices go up.

@granddi I hope you were able to send an email to QVC to get a price adjustment on the 23rd. I agree that their pricing is just crazy. I wonder if it is all done by some computer program, or if someone is just sitting at a desk, just randomly changing the prices, because that is what it seems like.

@DecorDiva: Of course the prices go up. There's no such thing as a free lunch. Shipping is not free; it's included in the price of the item.

DecorDiva -Actually no - I ordered the Linea fish pendant on free shipping day (Sunday) for $37 something. I just checked and the price is back up to $49 something plus shipping. I am getting the feeling I am shopping at ShopHQ or Macy's because of the up and down price fluctuations (I do not shop at either of them any longer). The sale price on the pendant on free shipping day was not advertised as a limited time offer/one time only or anything like that.
