The Target commercial pushing the merchandise is horrendous.

The play was the best production.  I saw the movie trailer and it looks fantastic.

I saw the play and it was fantastic.  My favorite color is green sooooooo.  I bought a green Lug a couple weeks ago when (I think) Jen had it as a preview on her show.  It's a beautiful color and material.

The story/play is not an evil story.  It's about a friendship between 2 girls

Wicked is far, far, far from being my favorite musical, but it has quite the following. It has a beautiful score.

@rms1954, I would not hesitate for a second to take younger children to see the movie. If it follows the musical then I suspect it will be visually stunning.

The core of the story is about friendships, seeing people beyond their surface, acknowledging people for what they are not how they look, finding your purpose in life, following your own path, realizing good is different than nice. I think those are favorable themes to teach children.

My only complaint is dividing the story into two parts. I'll wait until second part is released next year and watch it all at once.

May be, but so much is sold out.  I tried to find the Glinda doll for one of my niece's Christmas gifts and had to do way too much work to find it.  They also had wicked Stanley cups and they sold out in hours.  I actually like the commercial.

My favorite color is blue, but that green TSV is calling me.

Re: Wicked ?????

[ Edited ]

I'm disappointed to see Beekman 1802 saturated with co-promotion Wicked pink and green products.

I have enjoyed their products for the appearance of simple good ingredients, and now its obvious they are using coloring additives and such for the promotional tie-in.

If they bring out any of the baby goats in pink or green costumes they are OVER for me.

I mean - is Beekman1802 NASCAR next, or Beekman 102 Doritos?
