Okay, so I am a baby boomer and I do not get it. If you are having fun at a party, dinner, soc ial event or whatever why do you have to text everyone where you are and what you are doing?? Why not enjoy yourself at the moment and talk about it later? It seems obvious that you are not having such a great time dealing with the "real" people you are with and it seems like an insult. Instead of taking the time to text why not spend the precious time talking to a person who is right next to you? Sure there are times you just want to get away from someone but most of the time it is just good manners. Do you text at most events instead of attending and talk about it later?
