I notice both Cottage Farms and Robertas is offering a lot of annuals- can't see paying all that money for something that isn't going to last or multiply when I can go to my local nursery ( or even local grocery stores carry them now) and not have to worry about waiting until next year if they fail. I can even buy seeds now and start them indoors for a lot less money- at least perennials will come back or are guaranteed for a year. ( although CF's never seem to produce like they promise and even replacements don't do well )
The perennials are looking beautiful but verrrry pricey just to show up your neighbors!I'm in the NE and I do see a lot of these so-called exotics- and that's the caveat--- some of them are not going to weather the frosts here but have to be brought inside- who's got the room?
