One hears people on various TV shows and people giving speeches who yell talk . It's not just on QVC.
You'd think that if one " speaks for a living " by being on TV or giving speeches that they would be coached by professional communicators to lower their voice tone but speak clearly and forcefully for their voice to carry through a microphone .

I've noticed this as well. I dislike it. I understand speaking loudly at first to get attention. To do it continually must hurt the throat.

When they start yelling I turn them off.if it's important I can get a two minute version of what you said later.

I can barely stand to watch my favorite local Pittsburgh news in the morning due to the one female anchor yelling. Maybe I wouldn't mind it as much later in the day but first thing in the morning forget it.

I turn to another channel immediately if a person is "yelling" telling me about buying a product or the news/weather.
It's an uneducated person if they're yelling.

It is happening everywhere, yelling and talking over each other, a real turn off!

If it's on TV, I turn on "Closed Captioning" and hit the "mute" button.

A local female news anchor in my area does this. Your term yell talker made me chuckle but it's the perfect descriptor.

The Kitchen on Saturday mornings on the Food Network is horrific with all the screaming. It's hard to watch even with it taped on the DVR and using the mute button on & off.
Sad because some of the recipes are fantastic.
It reminds me of The View which I haven't seen for many many years thankfully which I believe is one of the first screamer interrupter shows.

@rockygems123 I agree with you on the show The Kitchen, I use to enjoy that show but the Chef Sunny Anderson is so loud I have to mute her. The recipes are so good on that show and usually easy meal to prepare.
