Why "Ask" for Advice Then Rant Against Opposing Views?

If someone truly wants to get all types of input on a topic, fine.

But those who really, truly, deep down only want to read posts that are 100% in agreement with their own point of view, I don't understand why they don't put that in their post. Instead, they just get snarky and sometimes downright explosive in their threads toward posters who try to bring a different POV to the table.

I just don't get it, unless those folks are just craving the drama.
