I've been on this board since Shop Talk days.  People have always been complaining about something or someone.

Cakers I don't know why you're attacking dBd,
I thought her post was about everybody (she said "we" not "you"
about things) not about one
person and as usual well thought out and made me think
more about how I act, imho.

Jmho but seems like occasional rain and you are taking things
personal and maybe some of the posts hit a nerve about yourselves,
sone people "protesteth too much" I think. I don't think JustJazzMom
or dBD either one targeted any poster but you and occasional rain did.

I agree it's probably not worth any more arguing about it
it's hard to get people to see all sides.

???  DooBDoo and I have ALWAYS gotten along so your post about me attacking her is way out of line.  I always consider her a friend.  As far as Jazzmom-I don't even know what that is all about. 

I did not specifically mention any poster by name - so you are way off base about "targeting" posters. 

My opinions were mine alone;  I don't appreciate you showing up out of the blue to assume something about me and to also lump me in with OR - she can stand by herself.

If Doobs feels I "attacked" her - that is up to her to address me, not you.

Yep. It depends upon which threads one is in, naturally. There have been deletions, and comments without deletions, from moderators from Friday through last night, definitely.

My opinion of the new software is one big shrug. My only complaint is the black and white print.

It is not easy on the eyes, especially older ones.

I like the new moderation in theory. I don't think all of the moderators are new. Some of them are familiar with the posters here.
I think they want to be fair, and it will take a while before they get a good read on the dynamics here. It will happen; I am sure of it.

I am hopeful about the changes, and the tweaking in response to legitimate concerns.
