Why don't more people travel by train?

We are on the Amtrak Empire express headed to NY City and it is great! Large seats with plenty of leg room. Seats are like a first class plane seat with a fold down table. Wi Fi available, time to read and snooze. Parking for five days in NYC would have cost more than the train without adding in gas money and tolls!

Highly recommend Amtrak.
