Most of the time I enjoy the people very much. It's a fun way to connect with people who have a keen understanding of the peculiarities of the typical home shopper.

Thanks for the response. Like your siggy.

Thanks, I like your name and siggy. Lots of clever people around here... another reason I post here.

Re: Why do you like posting here?

I post here for some of the reasons already stated. I'm an evening poster but sometimes check in during the day on weekends, or during a week day if I'm at home while someone doing work in our home, is here.

I get a lot of tips that are useful to me. I hear news stories that I might not have otherwise picked up. I get involved in the "what would you do?" types of posts.

And I keep in touch with people I've met here over the years.

Re: Why do you like posting here?

I like discussions of current events when they manage to slip by the enforcer. It's interesting to read views from those in different parts of the country, it would be even better if it were international. I enjoy controversy. I don't mind those who are nasty because they're amusing to me.

Re: Why do you like posting here?

There are people here I like a lot. Also I learn a lot here from people, even those I don't necessarily agree with. If an opposing opinion can be stated with clarity and unbiased it is useful.

I enjoy cutting up with others who like to cut up and it does feel like "old home week" sometimes.

Where else would I be able to 'chat' and exchange ideas with people from all over the country? Such a wonderful cross-section of people and thoughts. Forget surveys and polls. Companies/whatever should just read our posts!

It's interesting to get a glimpse of how other people feel about many things, and how they behave when they believe no one really knows who they are.

I've thought that on several occasions. And not just for QVC. We give feedback on a whole range of products/services and what kinds of things we want/need. IMO this place is a gold mine. I think it has been used by various people (both affiliated and not affiliated with QVC) to pose various questions and see what the responses are. Heck, you can post a question and get feedback right away and from a whole host of people.

Re: Why do you like posting here?

Fortunately there are many good folks on here. One of the good points of posting on here is if you are in need of prayers being said for you, a loved one, or a friend, you will find some very compassionate and caring folks here.

It's not always peaches N cream on here. We do have our ups and downs......which is understanding because of the difference of opinions, agreeing and disagreeing, etc. And yes, sometimes it gets pretty hot on here. But, if you ignore the nasty things that go on, there are so many pluses about posting on here.

Have made many friends on here, and some are in my personal life now, and wouldn't change that for anything. Am very close with them. Some through e-mail, on phone, and in real life. I cherish the moments I spend with them.
