Why do women marry bad boys and then act shocked when they are cheated on?

Do they actually think that they can somehow change someone who has behaved badly for so many years? Not only Maria Shriver comes to mind, but also Sandra Bullock.

It is often women with a squeaky clean image who get involved with "bad boys". Do they have a secret desire to go wild and crazy with someone, or act out their secret fantasies?

Do they honestly imagine that they can somehow tame their wild spirit? Both those couples always seemed so totally mismatched to me!
