Was just reading that Kourtney Kardashian's SO and father of her THREE children, Scott Disick, has left rehab.

I don't think this is his first trip to one. He is an immature alcoholic. Emphasis on the IMMATURE.

I know he recently lost both his parents, and that had to be very tough. But, he is a FATHER of three small children, and should GROW UP one of these days.

Here's a young woman, Kourtney, who is pretty and famous, etc. and could probably have her pick of many guys.

And yet she picks this immature creep and makes 3 kids with him. She doesn't marry him (wonder why), but keeps making kids with him.

She needs to kick him to the curb until he grows up and straightens out. Sorry she didn't do it 3 kids ago!

I agree, but she must love him for the way he is when he is not drunk.

I don't watch the show, so I can't offer an explanation with any insight into this particular relationship. However, in general, my answer to your question is "you don't choose who you fall in love with". Some of us will fall in love with alcoholics or other substance abuse issues.

eta: I won't judge someone who is apparently trying to seek help.

I know I'm a cynic, but I don't think he is half as bad as he is portrayed on TV.

In fact, a LOT of his storylines are pure fiction...like breaking a mirror fighting with Kourtney...JUST AS A CAMERA WAS ROLLING.

Sorry to say, but it's high drama with some bad actors.

I DO think he has a drinking problem...like his mom and dad who both died young.

Even Kris isn't nasty enough to have her daughter stay with an out of control creep for ratings!!! (At least I hope not!)

BTW - In one of the very first episodes of KUWTK, Kris talked about how she puts all her girls on the Pill at age 13. Both daughters who are moms had children w/o being married at the time. That must be their form of rebellion!

I don't think Scott is the 'enemy' either despite his issues. Kourtney is picking someone she thinks she can control imo.

This show likes to portray all of the men as nothings and not worthy of these so called famous women. Kris' track record with men/marriages is probably why Kourtney wants no part of marriage. She's too busy being a momager and trying to be her daughters.

I too, think Scott is not as bad as they like to portray him to be. Geez, living with that bunch of narcissistic women would make me want to drink too.

Even their own brother/son won't film with them. He has issues I'm sure due to his mother only being interested in the girls. She is not a good mother.

Great point...just like Kris controlled Bruce for years...and tried to do the same with her son too.

I think most people wouldn't dismiss a serious illness, like alcoholism, as 'immature' behavior....no matter what the last name.
