I keep wondering why they can't find the way to do this! Texas is suffering so much, and is very close to the states that are flooded! South Florida is also going through extreme drought conditions now! We were 95* today and parts of south Florida were covered in smoke from a huge fire that is still out of control in the Everglades area! The extreme dry conditions are making the situation worse.
Meanwhile, several states are being flooded out by huge amounts of water! With modern technology and so much money spent on the recovery process, after the drought or flooding, why doesn't someone or some agency come up with a way to funnel all that water elsewhere?
They do it with oil pipes, so why can't they do it with water? They were trying to send water from the New Orleans area today, from the Mississippi, out to the Gulf of Mexico. New Orleans is not that far from Texas.
The entire state of Texas is suffering now. Instead of putting brilliant minds to work on building more and more deadly weapons, why not put them to work on building a water solution instead?
