So I saw the presentation of the Shawn Killinger x IHKWIP Haute Tote Bag with Guitar Strap and liked the olive color. I try to put it in my cart and it is sold out and no offer of waitlist. Well today I noticed it's not sold out but is about $10 more today than yesterday. How did they all of a sudden get more stock in ( so many people cancel their order or are denied because of payment)? I guess this is better than letting me think I purchased something and then am notified it's out of stock. It's more money today so QVC lost a sale, I'm not buying it, I will somehow survive!

Yes, I have seen that happen . Maybe the vendor sold them a particular quanity of bags  at a promo rate . Personally , all these Vegan bags being sold for $100+ dollars is ridiculous .

 I had some leather bags that had the hooks on the ends , so I bought a couple of guitar straps and put them on my leather bags to update the look .

@Jordan2 @Oh wow! I saw that presentation and I was going to try to get one for a work tote, but by the time I saw a presentation of the inside the one I wanted was sold out. Too bad the price went up. I reminded of the LV neverfull tote.

They were never sold out.  Only the olive green color was showing it was gone last night.  I bought the orange one for a friend 30 minutes after they said it was sold out and it still had the sale price.

QVC often does that.  I've seen Valerie items say "sold out" during the show.  Go back an hour later and all is in stock.

They either take into consideration the amount of people on hold, calling in an order or it's cancelled or check hold orders not going through.

It's best to always go to the website and check when they say sold out. 9 times out of 10, it's still available.

I gave seen that happen before and I think it's because some credit card and debit cards don't go through and the items go back into inventory a day or two later.  Also, often when they say sold out on television, there are some available if you go online.

@skatting44

I think QVC allocates a specific "quantty" that they allocate for a sale price, or a particular show at another price.  (Notice that the hosst frequently refers to the "quantity." not the "stock.")

I find it absurd that the sale price was ended prior to Shawn's big Studio Park show. It makes no sense to me, no matter how it is parsed.
