Why does anyone need to know someone elses age? I do not see age when I talk with another person, not relevant.  My parents taught me respect for my elders but the uppity elites who have moved into my neighborhood embrace ageism and do not have respect for the elders who remain living here!

I don't care how old anyone is and just don't understand why anyone would care how old I am unless it's for medical reasons or identification. Most people like to look their best no matter what their age but you can use all the fillers, creams lotions etc but you're never going to be younger.  As others have said, age discrimination is real and no fun.  I have been asked my age and my response is "why would you ask?"  And of course I won't tell them lol

I rarely have anyone ask me my age except at medical visits but I have no problem revealing my age but no one seems that interested to Know! lol

I am old.  I am not ashamed of it but I will NOT post the exact age anywhere, nor the town I live in, etc.  Not in this day and age.

Agree with Sooner and some other posters. I've shared enough that if someone wanted to know my exact birth year, they could figure it out within a year or two -- but for privacy reasons on an online forum -- I prefer to speak in generalities. Not hiding. Just being careful.
