@Jk9 wow. I would imagine that takes A LOT of getting used to, unless maybe one grew up with it....maybe even still then?
I believe my Dad actually taught me to check my socks & shoes 1st, because he found scorpions in his shoes/boots, more than once!! ... creeps me out!
I have a late aunt, who was a Military wife & mother, who lived in Calif, (& a bunch of other places) .. She & the family were constantly battling snails there in CA! ..inside the house! I mean peel back the bed covers, or sink, or cupboard, or bathroom, wherever snails find comfort, I guess, .. & viola, there they were! ewww
They climbed in thru the mail slot, (& by whatever means they could penetrate the house). There was no way they cld keep them out, no matter what they did. Then the family moved on to the next spot that the Military sent them, & dealt with yet another, strange, adapting circumstance.
It's amazing to me that so many ppl have the "strength of character?" & "bravery" to be able to "work thru' & do what you have to do, and "keep on, keeping on!" . in this & thru even many other circumstances!
Kudos to you, @Jk9 !!
