So funny but maybe not so funny!🤪
When my daughter sees an "unmentionable" is what we call those things that are so creepy I feel sorry for them, she says "I"m going to burn the house down!" Always makes me laugh.

Okay, Sex Ed 101:
It takes two.
So, if the Breville's a rockin'....use the Air Fryer, please.

@maximillian I wholeheartedly concur!

@JoyFilled Warrior wrote:Wow @JackieHN that's scary & "unique" But a move from Brooklyn to Australia! WOW!!... Did you feel any other "culture or environmental shock?" I think I'd find plenty!!
(added) ... Are Koala Bears as cute, cuddly, friendly & sweet as they seem?
There were a lot of cultural differences. Like driving. on the wrong side for me. The food. We went to KFC and I wanted macaroni and cheese for my second dish. No such animal. You just get fries. No edible bagels. No kosher salt or bumble bee tuna or Hellman's. Everything is very expensive there. The shops closed early and the supermarkets were closed on Sundays. Everyone hung out their laundry. Dryers were only used when it rained. Let's put it this way. It was like living in the 50's. If you go to Sydney or Melbourne it's more cosmopolitan. However on a good note.l Bali is only 3 hrs away from Perth. Went there. Popular and cheap vacation spot. Australia is a beautiful country but I couldn't live there forever. When we came back from our last trip there even my husband said I couldn't live here anymore. And he was there for 24 years. Originally from Coney Island, .I've been there 3 or 4 times. My stepson lives in Melbourne originally from Perth. My last trip there was truly my last trip to Australia. Too bloody old for such a long plane ride.

I always check my shoes before putting them on @JoyFilled Warrior I live in the woods on a mini farm and we have lots of critters of all types here. We have a dog door leading to the deck and a small rat snake came in the house last month. First time that has happened in about 15 years, but put me on another high alert. Came in while we took our doxies for their early evening ride and the coon hound was in her crate. We caught and moved it to the woods.
We have a lot of wolf spiders and black widows here and see them frequently so I check my boots and closed toe shoes (Faragamo and Stuart Weitzman's too) carefully. Have done that since we moved here. Just part of living out here for us.

@JackieHN Did you get to taste "Vegemite?" How was it? Is it as deliciously, awful as they say?

@Jk9 wow. I would imagine that takes A LOT of getting used to, unless maybe one grew up with it....maybe even still then?
I believe my Dad actually taught me to check my socks & shoes 1st, because he found scorpions in his shoes/boots, more than once!! ... creeps me out!
I have a late aunt, who was a Military wife & mother, who lived in Calif, (& a bunch of other places) .. She & the family were constantly battling snails there in CA! ..inside the house! I mean peel back the bed covers, or sink, or cupboard, or bathroom, wherever snails find comfort, I guess, .. & viola, there they were! ewww
They climbed in thru the mail slot, (& by whatever means they could penetrate the house).There was no way they cld keep them out, no matter what they did. Then the family moved on to the next spot that the Military sent them, & dealt with yet another, strange, adapting circumstance.
It's amazing to me that so many ppl have the "strength of character?" & "bravery" to be able to "work thru' & do what you have to do, and "keep on, keeping on!" . in this & thru even many other circumstances!
Kudos to you, @Jk9 !!

Nope. There was a jar in the pantry and I took a sniff. No way. They eat it at breakfast on toasting bread. However as stepson pointed out, you just put a very thin layer on the bread. Wouldn't eat kangaroo either, They do have good meat pies and fish and chips.
