Avatars are like bumper stickers - they reflect your personality, and giving away personal info doesn't figure. Grab any photo that you like/means something to you, it doesn't have to BE you.

I wasn't referring to giving away personnel information, simply that choosing something other than from the default choices is not required to post. Some folks are fine with the minimum and see no need to personalize with an avatar.

Good question ! I have no idea, probably would use a tasteful rose.

My fav dog is the pug.  I used to be in MSN groups that made stuff for folks and I got stuff coming out my wazoo.  MSN groups went under, now, it's hard to find sigs, gifs, avatars, etc.
