IMO that show is well past it's sell-by date. As for Woopi, a bit of biting the hand that fed you.

I also thought that Babs and Bill were working together as Producers. Why would she be okay with him being let go???? Unless there's more that we don't know??????

Whoopi is pretty arrogant to think she can ""dis"" the woman who has kept her employed for many years....she should apologize but I can't imagine Whoopi ever apologizing to anyone for any reason. I think the show is way past its prime and needs to end. I certainly won't be watching. Too much anger

When the talk premiered, I didn't like it, thought it was boring, and didn't care for some host.

After the mess the View is in, I find The Talk refreshing. Right, they do not scream, say stupid things, talk over one another. They also give the guest time to talk and answer the questions, not like the View, that interrupts them in the middle of them answering the question. It went way down hill the last few years.

I heard Meridith Veaira, sorry about spelling, she was a host on the View years back when it was intelligent, is getting her own talk show.

I've heard that Bill leaving was part of Rosie agreeing to return.

"The View" and "The Talk" are two different shows. They may both have a table with woman around it talking, but the format and topics are different.

One is more celeb news and light/fl*ff topics, with a lot of laughter and lighthearted banter. (Q won't allow the word "fl*ff" with a "u". ??)

The other has more controversial, serious topics, and though they do have fun, they don't focus as much on the humor side of it.

I noticed "The View" backed away from politics the last year or two. I have a feeling they'll be discussing it more again with the new crew in the fall.

When I'm watching The View, if I don't have the closed captioning on, I can't understand a word anyone is saying. Not so with The Talk.

I watch The Talk a lot more than The View lately. I am really getting tired of hearing about Jeffrey and Evan most of the time. Different co-hosts every day. I read in today's paper that Rosie is definitely coming back and Sarah Pa/lin is interested in joining up.

Time will tell.......Whoopi and Rosie????? I'm not so sure....{#emotions_dlg.ohmy}
