I'm hoping all my fellow cross-stitchers will rejoice with me! Because of shoulder problems, I haven't done any stitching for about a year; even when I felt physically able to do it, I just didn't have the heart to do it. For too long I didn't feel like doing much of anything.
Gradually in the last few weeks, I've been starting to feel like stitching again and yesterday I went into full-bore stitching frenzy. 18 months ago I started a large, intricate project, The French Alphabet Sampler, and I've been too intimidated to resume work on it. Yesterday I dug it out and realized it's not as hard as I thought--only intricate (it's all one color so that makes it a lot easier). Today I'm looking forward to another stitching session and I can't describe how glad I am; it makes me feel like life is finally starting to get back to normal.
Any fellow cross-stitchers here?
If you're interested in seeing the FAS, you can do a web search or it might be displayed at Elegant Stitch, which is where I bought it.
