Trader Joe's is the only place I can find fresh non GMO corn on the cob.  The organic animal crackers are my downfall--big tub--I could literally dip my whole head in and eat them all.  Also like their olive-oiled popcorn.  Oh I've made some bad choices there!  But they do have good organic produce selection.  Not wild about any of their processed food be it in a box or in the refrid/freezer sections.

Thanks, @LindaSal

I have heard many good things about TJ's.  I am excited for the opening.

I got dinner twice from their beautiful buffet when I worked at the mall across the street.

They didn't keep popular items replenished and the grilled vegetables were charred and black on the bottom.

Later I found out it was brought in by truck.

If you wanted fresh, one went for pizza.  No thank you!

@ECBG I've never bought food from buffets in supermarkets, so I don't even know what they have (or had) on the one in Oklahoma City.

@Sooner

Several of my customers at that time said their parents had gone there for lunch (they had a nice seating area outside) and the food from the buffet upset their stomachs.

We had lost our Subway at the mall.  I really liked their chopped salad.

@proudlyfromNJ     Yes, I have been to that one, Rt 35 Middletown.  I was going to post the location but you beat me to it.  Hello from another Jersey girl!

@ECBG I just stay far far away from food sitting out where people can dig around in it and you don't know how long it has been out there.  I am one of those from WAY WAY back!  LOL!!!

As did I.  They had put dinner out by 15 minutes when I worked across from there.  The glass came down very far also..

There was ways an attendant there as well.

@goldensrbest

One of our sons worked at Whole Foods part time while attending

college.  He told us that the workers behind the prepared food

counter told him to pass on the food there.  He worked in the

bakery, and we found that their baked goods weren't that good

either.  I think the only aspect we liked was the salad bar.

As far as shopping in general, their meats are very good, and they

have specials for prime members.  Personally, I don't go to WF

very much because our local grocery stores, including Trader

Joe's are better.

I have two Whole Food stores near me.  But I do my shopping at Wegman's, Trader Joes, and Fresh Market.  Specific things at the specific stores.

I used to shop at Whole Foods until their baked goods went downhill, and they changed their wine selections.  I have not been back in about 5 years.
