I want to keep it working :-) I take a generic version, 220mg. I hope you find something that works for you, good luck!

Thanks mewsmomtoo.....so you only take it when needed? What dose do you take?

Thanks betteb....I read that online...I'm just wondering if it's a "take as needed" or does it have to build up in your system, and needs to be taken daily.

Don't know what happened to the post I typed. I am using my phone and it does weird things sometimes. Yes I use it as needed and the dose is one pill, 220 mg, and if necessary I will take a second pill within an hour of the first, but that is very rare for me. I hope you are able to find something that works for you :-)

Hi SFNative, just to be clear I said that FOR ME it was ALMOST like a wonder drug. I didn't say that it actually was a wonder drug. I was just trying to convey how well it works for me personally, that's all :-)

Makes me wonder if he was good about taking it with a major meal, as that's really important.

My DH takes ibuprofen all the time on an empty stomach - dose after dose. Just waiting for him to get THE worst stomach ache of his life, as he has one of those stomachs that can go bad quite easily.

My brother used to do that until one day he passed out and had to go the ER with internal bleeding. He almost died.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

Thanks everyone....I took a 500mg one last night and....it helped a little and it didn't bother my stomach.

I will be calling my PCP this week to see what he thinks....I have some other health issues going on that have to come first, but I'd like to get to the bottom of this pain. I'm not even sure what's causing it....I can't remember the last time I had a pain free day. Smiley Sad
