I miss my Mom who died in 2018, and my father who died last month. Everything else pales in comparison to that.

Re: Who or what do you miss the most in 2020?

I am essentially living the same way I have since I retired.  The main impact of the virus on me, is the limitation of face to face visits with my mom.

When my daughters come home after traveling for work, my husband and I do not go around others for 10 days.

My husband is a social person, and misses his twice a week coffee time with his friends.  He misses weekly visits with his aunt, altho he occasionally stops by on a nice day when they can visit outside.

Other than attending a co-workers memorial service, I wouldn't be out in public doing much more than I've been doing these last few months.   I don't shop, don't travel, and only visit with my immediate family, which we are still doing safely.

@Nancy Drew   Just consider the source.  I read your post 3 times and I see no jab.

My son hasn't left the house since Feb. except for one visit here in our garage.

Guess that's a jab, too.

Don't worry about it.

@Cakers3 @Thank you for that. I literally said I miss my friends who haven't left the house. No where did I diss their decision.

@ScarletDove Thank you. My friends made the decision to stay home and I said I missed them. Go figure.

No Big E this year.  Have been attending since I was a kid.  Nice memories.

@Nancy Drew  Sanibel Island; friends; neighborhood picnics. I have not missed my children and grandchildren (much) because we made a pact at the start of this when we got together on St. Patrick's day. We were going to get together no matter what. No blame, no guilt.I would rather get sick than miss seeing my family. We have all been together 3 times since this started. 15 of us from two states. We all quarantine after we are together, and we have had no sickness. I don't think I would recommend this to everyone, but it works for us.

Sitting in a restaurant.  All our eating out is fast food drive-throughs.
