I give my opinions, life experiences, write about my kids, but I don't write too much about personal things. Once I mentioned something about publishing honor rolls and then I was told that my daughter couldn't make the honor roll because I didn't want it published. Learned my lesson.

I have! No one knows me here in ""real life"" and never will. I also don't get my feelings hurt here easily because again no one really knows me.

Heck, since kitty started the thread about my Mr. Lucky, we have had a ball on there, and everyone knows he's a part of my personal life.

There are some on here that know me in RL, and they know I'm no different there than I am on here. I love life and my friends....and that's all that is really important to me. The rest, well you know what can be done with that.

I do post personal information but no one could identify me based on the info I share here. This is an anonymous board and I prefer remaining anonymous. I don't get into the "battles" and grudge matches that happen here; so, nothing I say is ever used as a "weapon" against me.

Then why is it okay for some posters to talk about personal things but not okay for others? Some posters get blasted for doing it. For example, there was an earlier thread about posting about family problems. I believe it's a bad idea.

There is such hypocrisy on this board. It depends on who is doing the posting.
