I actually think Brian Williams would be a good choice. He has redeemed himself after his exaggerations in the past with his MSNBC show. He knows news and how to report it and can interview political and entertainment guests well. And, he has a fun side that would do well with the "Morning Show."

It would be a total comedown for Lester Holt to go to the Today show. He has one of the most coveted jobs in TV on the evening news.
I watch about 10 minutes of the Today show and then switch to something else. Hoda and Al get on my nerves. Savannah is too giggly for me. I liked her when she was White House correspondent and in the field, but she just doesn't click with me anymore. Never liked Matt either. Bottom line, I guess I don't care because I don't watch it that much.

I actually think Oprah would be a good choice.
I don't know if they have enough money to pay her though. LOL

Do you think she’d go to a competing show against her BFF?

Willie Geist is my pick.

He seems to be a favorite here. Not sure why but I don’t find him engaging. His dad though was always a favorite of mine on Sunday Morning.

For some reason Tom Hanks came to mind. He's smart, funny and polite. But, he'd never do that.
Willie Geist will probably get the job. He's fine but sort of bland.

Lester Holt was the anchor on the weekend Today show while on his way up the ladder to Nightly News anchor. To go back to the morning show would be a big step backwards.
I like Craig Melvin, Willie Geist and Harry Smith. I think Harry would be the most qualified given that he’s held both the morning and evening anchor posts at CBS, but who knows if he’d wanted to get back in to that early, early morning routine. Craig and Willie are both on the way up, careerwise, so it’d be a great next step for them.
I’m not holding my breath waiting for a call from NBC to ask me what I think though.

I adore Willie Heist ( fan of his dad Bill too). I also really like Savannah. They both, to me at least, are serious news journalists and personalities for the soft stuff and can do both that is neccessary for that timeslot.
