@SharkE ...to funny!  Sorry, but it was a good story.

I remember years ago, I saw a mouse in the house and decided to go visit my folks 3 hours away!  My dad thought I had left DH ...which I did but only to take care of the mouse.  I spent the weekend with mom and dad.

Re: Who is getting tired of this, staying home?

I try and stay busy, keep my mind occupied.  I get outside for some fresh air daily.  I have made a long list of things I can do and work on something every day.  Im thankful to have a comfortable nice home to be in and if that is what we need to do is stay home, Im fine with it. BUT of course we will all be so happy and relieved when we can resume normal life!Cat Very Happy

Re: Who is getting tired of this, staying home?

Of course people are getting cabin fever from being inside 24/7.

That's why they are congregating in groups.

All human beings are social creatures.

And I do mean "All".

I am, everyone who reads this is.

It's hard wired deep inside our brains to seek out and interact with others.

It's like trying not to blink.

It's gonna happen, whether you want it to, or not.

Look, I'm not denying that Covid isn't deadly, because it is.

But, at the same time, we have to strike a balance between protecting those who are vulnerable, and keeping life as normal as possible.

It doesn't do is any good to have people so terrified, that they won't even hug their s/o, let alone do anything more intimate than that.

That's how I look at It anyway.

I go out for a walk every day, but I miss working and being with my clients.  I miss visiting my friends.

I am learning to work virtually, and that is a new experience for me.  It's a good thing for me to learn, I can even use it when I get to go back to working with people in perosn.

Yep, I'm really sick of being at home, it feels so weird, but nothing I can do about it. I try to go out only when we need supplies.

We just drove the 1 mile to the post office.  I dropped a bill in the drive up mailbox and we drove directly home.  It was such a big outing, LOL.

@gidgetgh  A car ride with the dog is a nice outing for DH and I...safe....and gets you out of the house. Plus traffic is light and gas is CHEAP👍

@Anonymous032819

I don't think that "keeping life as normal as possilbe" is, or should be, the goal right now.

Keeping people safe is.

@SeaMaiden - one would think so, but my husband has problems with blood pressure that drops if he's been sitting for awhile. And awhile can be 10 minutes or an hour, you never know,  so he doesn't do very well at all on leisurely drives. And I'm always anticipating the blood pressure issue when he gets out of the car so it takes away the enjoyment of going.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Went to the Starbucks drive thru and came home, it was very nice getting out

I'm not stuck at home (still working), BUT I love to take rides.  Just get in my car and drive.  I don't get out of the car.  It is entertaining.  Like a Sunday drive, but any day will do.  That is what I would do.

I feel like I just went deaf.  The guy next door has a noisy motorcycle.  He just took off, I'm so relieved.  Maybe he'll be gone awhile. ??? Silence is golden.
