That's why they are congregating in groups.
All human beings are social creatures.
And I do mean "All".
I am, everyone who reads this is.
It's hard wired deep inside our brains to seek out and interact with others.
It's like trying not to blink.
It's gonna happen, whether you want it to, or not.
Look, I'm not denying that Covid isn't deadly, because it is.
But, at the same time, we have to strike a balance between protecting those who are vulnerable, and keeping life as normal as possible.
It doesn't do is any good to have people so terrified, that they won't even hug their s/o, let alone do anything more intimate than that.
That's how I look at It anyway.
@Anonymous032819 Sorry, I will have to disagree that all human beings are social creatures, b/c I'm not and never have been lol...I'd much rather be by myself! I'm definitely an introvert and definitely anti-social/have social anxiety, but I'm okay with that. Things can always be worse. I try to remember that.

I am home a lot anyway, but there is something about being forced to be here more, rather than choose to be, that is for sure.
I am trying to remember that there are much worse things. I'm lucky to have a nice home, we are loosing no wages, we have everything we need, and everyone is healthy at this point.
I'm stressed like everyone about what is happening, what could happen, what will happen (especially with the economy), and because my husband still has to go to work everyday, I worry about what he might bring it home.
I'm mostly upset that nicer weather and longer days are coming, and that is when I like to 'run' and go and do. It appears that things aren't going to get better enough fast enough to take advantage of that this year. And I don't like not being able to see my son more. I won't let him in the house right now as he is working and has a new roommate that we don't know, so don't know who he is exposed to. I just can't take chances since I care for my mom on a regular basis.
But because I often only go away from home one day a week, it's not really a dramatic change for me in daily routine, just more a psychological thing.
Edited to add
I have been taking rides in the car. I take my mom at least once a week, we pick an area to drive that we have never been to, just to see new sights. Then we go past stores and businesses to see how busy they are, marvel at the empty parking lots at restaurants etc.
It gets us out of the house, and off the property. We do spend time outside on our acres when weather permits, but it has been rainy a lot.

@Anonymous032819 I also have to absolutely disagree that we are "hard wired deep inside our brains to seek out and interact with others. It's like trying not to blink." Some people can't seem to function without being around others and some people are happier being alone. I also don't think during this type of crisis that we need to be striking any balance to "keep life as normal as possible.' No. Life is NOT normal and shouild not be normal. We all need to make sacrifices as uncomfortable and as ab-normal as they may be because this is Life and Death we're talking about. To heck with anyone's normal routine. JMO.

You say that we're not social creatures?
Then why are you, me, and everyone else on this social website?

Haven't saw him hopefully the steel wool is preventing him from getting thru
I'm gonna fill in any more baseboards that at the corner like at the vanities or your cookstove area that has an exterior wall has a crevice that the carpenter didn't make flush at the top. they can get in any little spot.
I bought 6 bags of steel wool at the Everything is a dollar store today now have to lay on the floor and stuff the crevices and they won't eat thru that hard stuff @KatieB
