Coming over the weekend but I have faith in the groundhog! Spring is right around the corner and we've earned it this year! I has been years since I've seen a real Spring ![]()

@Susan Louise I would love if "blizzard zone" people would post pics. I, for one, love snow storms. We in SE Pennsylvania have been sadly devoid of snow this year. Other than my children and grand children, there is nothing I love more than a good snow storm. Please post pictures of your snow!

I know that Chicago is expecting 50 mph winds on Sunday and the weather on Saturday is near 50 and Sunday 40 but Monday it will be 20. When I was a kid to 21 and past, we had seasons. Winter was winter with cold weather and snow and then we went into spring (sometimes too short) and we had a long summer and then into Fall. Now the weather is all over the place. Heck, kids can't even skate outside. I skated all the time and my dad made an ice rink in our backyard. Times have definitely changed.

Here in Northern MI we yawn and call it winter. 😊
Already got the high wind/possible power outtage alerts from the utility companies.
We live with prep supplies and a backup genny. If it's too bad you park the 4WD and get out yer snow machine. That's a snowmobile for those in warmer temps.

Too early to know. We could get a couple inches or a foot. I like snow, but I am routing for a couple inches. House sitting this week and don't need two driveways to clear.

We are on Mogollan Rim of White Mtns in North Eastern Arizons. This is second day of a storm that has brought us 30" of snow so far. We planned for it and have been watching it snow all day.

I live NE of Scottsdale, AZ. We got snow last night. Enough to pile up on lawn furniture and stick around until the morning. It rained most of the day, so the snow is now gone.
I've lived in this area since 1974 and I think I've seen snow maybe three times.
Our big winter storm is headed east. Watch out! 😁

@SeaMaiden: I'm from SE Michigan (born and raised) and for the life of me have never heard of a "bomb cyclone" ??!?!?
Apparently, we're in danger of experiencing extremely high winds and need to be prepared for possible power outages.

I don't know about blizzard amounts here but it's snowing YET AGAIN in Santa Fe.
