DH and I are ready for this next storm. On the positive side, Spring is just around the corner...just one more month to go and the days are getting longer. Additionally, with the angle of the sun rising, any snow will melt at a faster pace too. At least that is what I tell myself...LOL
Based upon our local weather tv stations, we'll remain in the deep freeze until mid March...no early Spring warm weather on the horizon...sigh.

Hi Susan!
We're in this together. My weather alarm went off this afternoon. Startled me since it's usually for tornados! Guess the Weather Service is serious that we're in for a big one this time. It's Nebraska.
Just think how gorgeous our lawns will be this spring and summer! We've already had 42" of moisture, which was among the records. Whatever we receive this weekend will go down in history! Lucky us in the middle USA.
Stay warm and safe.
ETA: Think how wonderful the lake will be this summer!! WOW.

Looks like Michigan area is in for a bomb Cyclone on Sunday with severe high winds. Anyone here in that area? 😳

Southwestern Michigan has a winter storm watch in effect on Sunday for very high winds. Maybe a little snow. We'll see how that goes.

Rain, snow snow, rain, snow, snow. I think that's what we'll be seeing!
It will not be dry here until July.
I like the longer days but many are too grey to tell.

If anyone is interested here is a real-time radar weather map which shows precipitation all across the nation. You can zoom in and out to focus in on where you live. Look down to the lower right corner for LAYERS...click that and see even more details about this map like cloud cover and regional temps. Just click the icons and see for yourself. It's super cool!

Here’s an example of our weather this morning. It’s been a wild winter in the desert!

No but we had some sleet with snow last weekend. Suppose to have thunderstorms in the middle of the night in to tomorrow with about 30 mph winds.
It's Feb generally our coldest month.
