@qualitygal   My family saw him speak at the Boston Speaker Series. They said he was great and of course very interesting.

FYI:  He has a GF now and a dog.

Hide the silverware!

Sorry, but the facts don't support Spkr. Pelosi as a thief.

My humor lost something in translation. I meant there would be disagreements, therefore hiding the knives and forks, least things would get way out of hand (I'm just kidding).

Re: Who Would You Want To Have Dinner With

I'm trusting I'll see my Higher Power, friends and family in an eternal afterlife.

I'd like to meet with people now I respect and ask questions about living sane in this world while keeping a positive attitude. Get some tips. Billy Graham, Maya Angelou, Mother Teresa, a mentor I lost contact with once she moved to another country, Gayle. AND, Willie Geist. Strange choice, but among journalists and TV broadcasters, I think he has a high emotional quotient and an appreciation for human interest stories.

[ Edited ]

Kris Kristofferson - I could look into his beautiful blue eyes and he could sing me a song.  Songs that he wrote spoke to me and seemed to come from his soul.  He was a Rhodes Scholar and would be very interesting to talk with.

Taylor Caldwell - Loved everyone of her books. They had a historical background and were so detailed and realistic that it seemed she must have lived in many eras.  My favorite was Dear and Glorious Physician about the life of St. Luke.  Doesn't seem like an interesting subject, but it was a great story.

My mother - Would love to talk with her about her life as a child, widowed as a young woman.  Then marriage again and birth of my brother and me.   Talk with her so she knows how much I loved and appreciated her.  We should have talked more when we could.

And Dolly Parton whom I admire and I am sure would be an interesting and enteraining lunch partner, and also Marie Antroinette. Would love to hear about life in that era, especially hers at the French Court.  I can imagine myself back in those times.
