There were Woolworths' all over NYC. I used to go in there and sit and have a meal like I was a grown up. I could be served no matter that I was a youngster. They didn't have a lot of offerings but you could get a simple sandwhich and an ice cream float @Flatbush

I remember when Pergament went out business. I bought doors from them before they went out business before the Home Depot came to my area. This was not long after I bought my home. How about Nobody Beats the Wiz? Crazy Eddie?

Lerner's turned into New York and Company which isn't doing well now. I remember Loehmann's too. How about Filene's Basement? Daffy's is gone too.
