......is the best at multi tasking? Men or women? My dh is awful. I don't dare even ask a question if he's watching TV or whatever because he can't watch and answer at the same time. Ouy. I think women are because we have had to juggle jobs, children, home, etc. day in and day out.

Straight up, women!!!!

There are probably exceptions, but in my experience it's women hands down. We don't usually have a choice,

I read some place that men's brains are not set up for multi-tasking, but women's brains are. Of course, there are always exception and you can't generalize.

Oh, women for sure. My husband can only do one thing at a time. If infuriates me!

Not a real fan of huge generalizations and sometimes multitasking is not always the best thing as we judge others who can't do it very well or at all. Maybe a fairer question is who might want to have more tasks completed?

Same here. And it's usually something that involves himself. 99 times out of 100, his focal point is me, me, me (meaning him, him, him).

I think in general that women are better, but I'm not including myself when I say that. I can do a lot in a short time, but I'm better at completing one task at a time, then moving on to the next. When I try to do too many things at once it makes me feel overwhelmed.....like I'm not accomplishing anything.

I have never found a reason for me to multi-task. My preference is, and always has been to focus on 1 thing at a time. The more serious the task, such as driving a motor vehicle on public roads, would be one example.
Sure, there were/are many times I could do more than 1 task(?) at a time, but I prefer keeping 100% of my focus directed exclusively on just the task at hand.
Having worked for over 25 years with only men, and running predominately male, adult hockey league for over half a century? Very simple and easy answer. The majority of the thousands of men in which I have been closely involved with over my years, 1 task at a time, to do correctly, is even a problem.
My vote says the ladies win this one. And yes, I do understand that being a mother requires that ability, and very often.
