We know that a number of white collar criminals have hired Prison Consultants to provide advice on how to get by in jail. Madoff, Martha Stewart and Teresa Giudice have hired them. This relatively new business can bring in six figures per client. Apparently, both Felicity and Lori, among others involved in Operation Varsity Blues, have hired these former white collar felons for guidance.
If any of us ends up there here are some basic rules.
Some of the advice seems like common sense, similar to how one should operate on the outside, but the consequences for violations inside could be severe.

How nice that the rich and famous can afford to hire a prison consultant. The rest of us have to rely on our common sense.

i am hoping that "the rest of us here" dont have to worry about something like this at all.
. bottom line is......stay out of trouble, dont think you can get away with something, and you wont go to jail.

- Show Humility, Don't Accept Special Treatment: staff and guards may often show sympathy and extra attention to stars, but other inmates can become resentful leading to physical conflicts. Others could resent your wealth or status. If someone starts trouble, don't engage.
- Avoid Drama and Show Respect: Take your turn, don't cut lines. Don't reach over a food tray. Fingers get broken that way.
- Don't Complain or Talk About Your Case: No one wants to hear you whine and moan so just keep quiet.
- Be Productive and Work: Do whatever task is presented. It passes the time, occupies your mind and good behavior may get your sentence reduced.
In other words, do everything you should have been doing before you decided to commit your crime.

They wealthy can buy anything. Even tutoring on how to survive in prison...LOL I don't care, as long as they GO to prison when they commit a crime. I really didn't bother reading your advice. I have no plans to commit an crimes any time soon...LOL

I posted it because I thought it was humorous to pay for this type of guidance.
It is funny; people paying big bucks to have common sense taught to them. Anyone should already know these things. Of course, if they did, they wouldn't have committed the crimes in the first place!

Well since they paid for their children to get into college why not pay for consultants to help them enter into the prison system...what a waste of money![]()
