Whistling, finger snapping, and winking too

The winking survey got me thinking. I could wink with either eye but don't. I could finger snap with either hand but don't. I can't whistle. It seems that yesteryear those things were more common place. My dad whistled (not for a cab or when a team scores) much like the dwarfs did while they worked ala Snow White. People snap their fingers in time with music. There was definitely more winking whether in real life or just the movies. I really don't like any of the above. Sitting next to someone who is whistling is plain annoying. Definitely helpful when hailing a cab. Finger snapping - don't really see it. If done to waiters - definitely rude. Winking - has to be done just so not to make it cheesy. It seem the matinee idol was forever winking at the girl. Think Elvis and his musicals. He was a good winker.
