Re: Which tiara? Now that Charles is ESCORTING her....(not giving her away)

With Charles walking her down the aisle and her wearing the Spencer tiara it would be as if they were both there at the Bride and Groom's side.  Would be as perfect as could be without being able to actually have Diana present in a seat behind them.

Because Harry is not expected to be King.  The bride might choose a bridal tiara, but it is my understanding the Queen would have to approve the wearing of any royal tiara.

interesting...BUT...neither were Andrew or Edward.....their brides wore them

Sophie's tiara was recreated from the Queens collection.

Sarah's was a gift (brand new) from the Queen to her for her wedding

@151949 Actually the veil isn't the symbol of virginity, the "blusher" that comes down in front of the face is.

It's symbolic of virginity and won't get technical explaining why!

Meghan is very feminist. I wonder if she'll wear a viel? Also, she is divorced and lives with Harry already, so no need for the virgin's viel.

@151949  Oh good grief.  LOL

No need to wear white either, I guess.

At least Diana's virginity was proven for the whole world so I guess she earned the right to wear a "virgin's veil".

I wonder how many brides through the centuries earned the right to wear a "virgin's veil"?  *snort*

Charles escorting her ... another reason not to watch.

Two 's.o.p.' walking down the aisle together.

What is s.o.p.?

I didn’t think I was that excited but find myself getting caught up in it all. I say any tiara is a good tiara. I think Princess Beatrice is getting married later this year and she might of got first dibs because I think she “out ranks Meghan”

Beatrice is a "born" royal.....thats why shes a Princess but Meghan and Catherine are not....also....having said that Meghan will outrank Bea and Eug....as long as Harry is in the room...it gets very complicated ......Anne didnt want any of them ahead of her so the rules were changed in relation to her

also...I think Beatrice will wear her Mother's tiara...if she hasnt sold it...just  kidding

I watched a documentary last night about the Roal wedding(s) etc and they stated the Queen has to approve the tiara as well as the wedding dress.
