For me it would be Jayne Brown.

So true!!!  I've never done FB chats but one day I got notification "David was Live"...it's Thursday at 10:00 am & called "Coffee Talk".

I enjoy hearing about his family (and Mom), likes/ dislikes, behind the scenes at QVC, and anything else people ask him.  I had to laugh -- this week he had a cute shirt on that was a big flamingo pumpkin!  He's always wearing a "Life is Good" T-shirt...

@homedecor1,   I saw what I think was his first coffee talk Facebook chat in the spring... he was still learning how to manage the technology and somehow got a wacky cat pic filter on his screen and after being startled by it he couldn't figure out how he did it or how to undo it.  He handled it so well, was so funny that I got a huge case of the giggles 'til I was wiping tears away.  I've only seen a few of the chats, but I agree with you.   He answers all sorts of questions, is frank and open, and really has depth of knowledge about QVC, products, and much more.  Nice, different perspective of this host.😊

When I was in sales and any job that works with the public I put on a smiley, happy, positive face.  That is not my real personality.   I know that these hosts must do that too.  That is their job to be likeable and sell.  However, going by their Tv personality I think I would like Carolyn Gracie.

@chiclet I can relate to your comment.  I too was in a position that required me to be an excellent actor and I performed well, very well.  When I got home I retreated to my introverted self, grabbed a book and on most days didn't resurface until it was time to punch the time clock again.

Since I have nothing in common with any of them and they are totally out my league, I would not be friends with any of them. I'm sure they are all very nice people and have plenty of friends.

@RetRN Honey, NOBODY is out of your league!  People may have a lot more or a lot less than you, but that doesn't make them out of your league.  Doesn't mean the can't be a friend!

Re: Which host could you have a friendship with?

Fun topic!  Since we're in fantasyland, there are a few I'd like to meet in person = Pat James DiMentri, Carolyn Gracie, Jayne Brown, and (not hosts) Angel Smedley and Linda Davies.   I'd like to pick Mary DeAngelis's brain on wines - probably have a few and laugh ourselves silly.   Or join Leah Williams for lunch.  I'd like to see them kick back, relax, and not be sales people for a while.

I assure you, not a single one is out of your league.  They are human beings, just like us.  We see their tv personas but when they scrub off the makeup and put their own clothes on and go home; they are as average and regular as any of us.  They have the same challenges, problems, joys, pleasures as anyone else.

@homedecor1 I had the pleasure of sipping a cup of coffee, while watching one of his "Coffee Talk"- (Cwoffee Twok), Facebook meetings, and thoroughly enjoyed it.😁

I would love a sweepstakes, where the winner gets an opportunity to meet, and perhaps dine with David.❤ Now THAT would be fun.😁
