animations can be on any web page you go to.   you can eliminate all.

I don't want to cause issues for anyone posting - I apologize if I came off that way.  I do have issues sometimes w/my eyes/migraines kind of thing as the animation spinning if that is the right word can sometimes trigger for me.  The one poster I was speaking of is so brilliant on cooking/cooking utensils/pots & pans & I so really appreciate her posts.  I hope I didn't offend her/anyone w/my issues, I didn't mean to cause problems.

Thank you, but that does work for all browsers.  I will use that on my laptop, but it does not  seem to work the same for Android tablets/phones. I don't have issues with all animation, but some of them are very active and don't stop. I know it's my issue and will keep trying o find a way of disabling.

I used to moderate a website and we didn't allow any animated GIFs.

i googled 

how to turn off animation on samsung

and it showed me that its:

settings

accessibility

visibility enhancements

about half way down is REMOVE ANIMATIONS.  on/off toggle on right

I did that, it didn't work for this website. But thank you for looking it up, very kind of you to take the time to try and help.
