@TwinkleBell   I love their musical concerts, albeit for their fundraising membership drives.  I also enjoy cooking shows.  Years ago when my children were little we enjoyed their children's programming, such as Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow and the Electric Company.

I refuse to watch PBS anymore. I revoked my contribution and told them why. What was once enjoyable for the arts, childrens programming, gardening, cooking, etc., has become a voice box for politics.

LOVE the musical shows. They are the next best thing to being there. Due to Covid the past 3 years we haven't been able to get out to see the concerts locally. And now my hubbys mobility is such and mine not that much better so walking very far becomes an ordeal. So watching PBS has brought the entertainment to us. Its been wonderful.

@HonestLife: Do you have access to PBS channels: Create and World Channel? The programming on these channels focus on cooking, gardening, the arts, etc, etc, etc. Check it out!

I'm not watching anything at the moment.  But Masterpiece often has good shows, like Call the Midwife and All Creatures Great and Small.  The cooking shows are good but my local station bunches them all into Saturday.

I don't usually enjoy the fundraising shows.

I watched Downton and Poldark.  Enjoyed Miss Scarlet and the Duke, and will watch the second series this fall.

Other than that I never watch.  Hate the fund raising stuff and I do not contribute to them.

I guess because I've spent my life in music, I hate - absolutely hate - PBS music! However, I really enjoyed Scott Yoo's Now Hear This.

I enjoy the documentaries the most, although I know they are all slanted. The one on Hemingway could have been done in a half hour or less.

Also enjoy the stories because they are about different eras, which are usually well researched.

Re: Which PBS shows do u like to watch?

I have some long time favorites:

Antiques Roadshow ( wanna see if any of my old "treasures" will make me rich!!! So far, no luck!!!)  I particularly like when they do prices from older shows compared to new valuations today...interesting....)

NOVA

NATURE

Independent Lens ( For some topics).

FRONTLINE

Saturday nights for the last few months they've been running classic movies with no commercials...all types of genres, at 8pm. I always look there ( and at TCM) for something interesting...

I watch on WQLN here in Western PA
