Many are probably doing the same thing you are, only they're stopping at Starbucks on the way.
Lots of people still have to go out to work as well.
And coffee IS essential.

@Scooby Doo, Raising my hand, for now.

Right now while there is no work and no tourists around, I find myself going to get a cup of coffee or a soda to go and park near the water. At one particular park , the parking spaces are coned off for every other spot. Nothing wrong with patronizing Starbucks or any other place that is opened.

@qbetzforreal That's the way I am. I can do without a lot of things, but if I run out of ice cream sandwiches, but they must be Harris Teeter brand.

@Spurt OMG! Is that your furbaby? He looks just like my Bill!
I never saw Bill that small. I got him when he was 7 years old.
He's cleaning himself. I ordered from Grubhub (craving hamburger, french fries and salad) and topped it off with Hagen Das butter pecan ice cream!
I pinched a tiny (so small I couldn't find it) piece of the hamburger for Bill. I don't think he could find it either.
So, I put down the plate on the coffee table, I just eat half of the hamburger, way too big, suddenly Bill grabs the 1/2 of hamburger meat on the plate and jumps down on the floor with it.
I ran over and scooped it up so fast he was looking for it! Ha!
Then I ate some butter pecan Hagen Das ice cream. Nothing left in the bowl. He waited til I left the room for a minute and started licking the empty bowl. Ha!
People food isn't good for him. He eats prescription cat food, so I worry about what he eats.
I love, love your furbaby.

People are tired of being held prisoner in their own home. They probably just want to go out for a drive to take in some scenery besides the inside of their home.

@SurferWife No one ever told us in NY we couldn't leave our homes. Get out and get fresh air and exercise, just don't do it with a bunch of other people.
We take rides often and my husband goes out a lot. He does the shopping and errands.

@Spurt Yes! It was like he was taking his prey off to enjoy it. The chunk of meat was pretty big too!
He keeps getting an inflamed pancreas. So he has to eat prescription food and when it starts up I keep amoxicillan at home to give him.
His sister (Katie) eats Sheba the halfs. The cat easts 1/2 of the 1/2 of Sheba. Needless to say I'm feeding her 24/7. I feel like, "Just shoot me now". I'm constantly feeding her. And I don't want Bill eating her left overs, so I stand there while she eats, then when she walks away, pick up the plate. He loves her food....of course.
Do any of you moms of furbabies start something with them and wish you hadn't? That would be me. So one thing I started is when eating an ice cream sandwich I will put on a piece of paper at tiny drop of vanilla ice cream. It's 1/2 of the size of a dime.
He'll lick it. So funny if he gets the drop before it melts. Ever see someone chew ice cream? Funny so funny!
They are spoiled rotten, but I know all of you guys spoil your furbabies.
