Today is beautiful, rain for the next few days. We went to Burger King, and Dunkin Donuts no contact other than the drive through and we were are wearing masks. I am getting cabin fever and needed to get out today

I think people are bored and just tired of being at home so they decide to go for a drive..It's safe if you stay in your car and you arent in contact with others (except for those that went to Starbucks or picked food up through a drive-thru ) AND its a good idea to start your car and run it bit instead of just letting it sit for a long time....

Any business that is open should be patronized if at all possible....you do know that it's drive thru service only, or possibly curbside pick up.

I posted earlier he said to go out for a walk, ride a bike and take a drive. You can go hiking as long as there aren't a bunch of people there with you. Most of N.Y. is like that unless you're in a city.

The beginning of OP's post "where is everyone going" was fine and a fun question, however once one voiced the opinion of what they felt was essential is what others objected to. I rarely go out except I do grocery pick up but the other day I went into a convenience store, it was empty, because at that point in time ICE CREAM was my essential.

@Annabellethecat66 Yes, water can certainly be the nemesis of a home!! A few years ago I had a leak in my bedroom that came from the bathroom somehow and it ruined the entire floor. Had to have a whole new floor put in and part of a wall. It was a nightmare. The job tookn4 days to complete. Thankfully the kitchen isnt expected to take that long or be as extensive.

Even in these times, there are still going to be people going out. I'm going to give all of them the benefit of the doubt. If I'm out for what I feel are the "right reasons", then they likely are, as well.

I am still working and to and from is all I do besides my daily walk and clean and then more cleaning.

Shop early and get what we need and back home.

We are not doing any unnecessary errands but we do like to take a drive to help with the restlessness that comes with being shut in.

We do not walk into any place without our face masks. Shoes left outside and sprayed with disinfectant. We are very careful but we have limited ourselves on how often we shop too.

Nothing wrong with the question. My husband and I use to say when we would go to the store and see all the cars what are all these people doing. Don't they ever stay home?

I would always say same thing we are doing.
