We were thinking of renting a place sometime in September to be on a lakefront property either in the Poconos or upstate NY.

I didn't see the show but I think other posters are right and she has a home in the Hamptons, although that wouldn't be a lake.

@PickyPicky3 I would consider any ot those.  For the last two years...really since the pandemic ...we have rented a different lake front house in the Poconos for a few days in September.  After kids and gone back to school so things are a bit more peaceful.  What I like is that the Poconos is really close to home but the selection is limited. 

I would love something like the lake front of Susan's house and I'm sure the interior is gorgeous!

I just need to get motivated and start looking.

@haddon9 My favorite in that group is Lake Placid: so scenic and fun to visit the Olympic Training Center (covid status???).
