Then there's Hope Solo, who got a thunderous round of applause last night while in town:think: with her soccer team.

Talk about a double standard. And hypocrisy.

I suspect the press conference will be very orchestrated with numerous lawyers present to monitor questions and answers.

By "the league" do you mean players and staff? And all the other employees?

No Esme - ticket sales (and TV rights and apparel sales and corporate sponsorships) go to the league, which distributes the proceeds to the teams (owners).

They owners decide how much they will pay their players, up to a certain cap level that each team cannot go over. The employee payments to players are CAPPED and can be divided among the individual players as each team see fit. Teams can't pay players anything more that what each other team pays.

It's going to be a mess. The boys club is busted. How far will they go back on who breached the ""Moral Clause"" in their agreements. That's a position a good attorney will take for their client(s). Done right they can argue and get their client(s) reinstated.

Lucky for the players that they have a union and collective bargaining agreement rights.

The average American worker would be out of luck.

Thanks for all that but it wasn't what I asked. Players aren't the only employees. And I know about salary caps.

Thats why the NFL is slowly morphing into a Witch Hunt...it's getting a 'Mob Mentality". Maybe we need to focus on stuff like Hope Solo, college football (one of the dirtiest sports on earth!) and Olympic Sports....clean up the "little" stuff & the trickle down effect will get to the Big Boys.

Trickle down doesn't work.

You need to stop the problem at EVERY level, IMO.
