Roger Goodell????

Has he made ANY statements in the last week?

He made 44.5 million dollars last year...and his league is in chaos...yet he can't speak to the press????

Is he showing the kind of leadership needed now???

Members of Congress sent him a letter re: all the recent issues...he hasn't even responded to THEM - the institution that made the league tax exempt and exempt from anti-trust laws!!!!

Very sad...

Doesn't anyone else think it's strange he seems to have disappeared?

He didn't even make a statement re: the sale of the Bills. His VP handled the press.

Apparently he's laying low - doesn't have the you-know-whats to come out and face the music on how he's ""avoided"" handling all these situations.

I actually think the Condoleeza would make a much better commissioner...and I wasn't crazy about her in her previous jobs.

She loves football, isn't afraid to be a leader and has wanted this job all her adult life.

She would be fantastic, IMO, and would NEVER go into virtual hiding at a critical time!

He hasn't responded [gasp!] to THEM--the tin gods that they are. As if this is a congressional issue, anyway, rather than a law enforcement one. Un-believable.

Actually it is in the public interest.

Who pays for their stadiums???? Taxpayers, not usually owners.

Who made this multi-BILLION dollar business tax exempt? And made them exempt from anti-trust regulations?

Who gave them the right to black out televised games in certain markets? And makes them run on BOTH cable & broadcast when games are in their market?
