It seems as though Maria is on constantly and she appears to be the largest plus size model. She used to be a 1X, lost weight and became a L. She gained the weight back plus some and they still often try to stuff her into a large. You know someone is in the wrong size when the lapels on a jacket are 6"-8" apart. She was on the Lisa Rinna show yesterday in a faux leather jacket that did her no favors.

@Kachina624 ...Have you seen (dark haired) Maria lately? She has lost a lot weight again. I would no longer consider her a plus size model. I her saw last week... and believe she is probably a QVC size large.

That's who I'm talking about...dark haired Maria. It seems like I see her almost every day and I've never seen her as large as she is now. They try to stuff her into a large and she looks awful because the clothes don't fit.

I disagree. I am seeing more plus-sized models than ever, especially on the D&C and QF shows in the mornings.

They have shrunk. We need some actual plus size models. I want to see some with different body shapes, too. The Q is much better than other companies about stocking plus size clothing and I am very grateful, but I would like to see what the clothes will look like on, before I buy.

Just WHICH shows are you referring to?
I see plus sized models on the IM, D& Co and QF shows all the time!
If you actually know what styles are the most flattering on you, the actual size of the model doesn't even matter!

I agree. I don't necessarily want to see a 3x model with each show, but they usually have one plus size (L, XL or 1x) and then 2 or 3 XXS models. I'd just like to see some more diversity. How about a range of models for each show, so we can see how the garment looks. Let's be realistic, not everything will look good on every body type, and that's ok. If they are charging for shipping and returns, they should try their best to truly represent how the product looks on multiple body types.

I was not impressed with the Halston shows, I don't recall seeing any one over a size large in that show. The only reason the Q caters to the petite customers and usually has a petite model on D&C is because the older little ladies are the ones who yell the loudest and buy the most. Me included. LOL Of course the designers want to see their fashions on the tall skinny models, but I don't even know any women who are over 5ft.8 and that skinny. Halston is not for me, I thought the spokesperson for that line was creepy and although the prices were not that bad I was not tempted to buy. All that being said, I think it's good to have choices and all sizes should be represented if the Q wants all sizes to buy. As I have said before, I don't buy any clothing I don't see on Meredith.

I think that plus size doesn't mean what it used to mean. It is getting out of control that what used to be an average size is now plus sized. They should have larger size models in the shows and try to show different shapes and sizes if it would help people in their shopping decisions. Whatever the case, I always feel overweight when looking at these very thin models.

No offense to Jackie the large size model, but I have seen the way they have dressed her and sometimes it has been unflattering. She has said she is a size 14 which to me isn't large or plus size. I was a 14 and could fit into a lot of mediums. I wish they would dress her better.
