Where do I start looking for information about someone from out of US getting married here?

I can't think where to even look for questions and answers. My son is really happy with this girl and I know I know the relationship just started but he may go to her country Malasya (sp) next year when she goes back home. I understand through a friend a person can't marry an American and be a citizen so if they got married that does not mean she could live here with him does it? Where would I find this information. I like to plan ahead just in case. lol
