I know people always say this, but I really am dumbfounded that next week is Christmas. I don't like it, but there is nothing I can do, LOL . I was making out my grocery list and for some reason I thought I had so much more time .  Is it just me ? Here is the weird part, when I was younger and had so much going on, time passage seemed normal. Now that my holiday is simpler , with fewer demands on my time , the weeks are flying by. 🤷‍♀️

@QVCkitty1.  I don't know where the year went but I thought last summer would never end.  It was so hot and went on and on.  I'm already dreading summer 2024.

I agree, it seems like yesterday that we were all complaining about "Christmas in July"

@QVCkitty1   I feel exactly the same way lol.  I still have a lot to do next week, ugh. Then my birthday falls after Christmas & just before the New Year, so everything seems so rushed.  This whole year has felt that way to me. It's been a rough one. I'm looking forward to better things in 2024.

I agree with all of you.  I was just commenting to my sister yesterday that I can't seem to wrap my head around that Christmas is a week from Monday.  Days have sort of blurred together making the time frame seem to go quicker, if that makes sense.  

@Kachina624  I don't live where you do, but I too dread the heat and humidity on the east coast that the blazing summer always brings.

I am always saying how fast times passes, the days, weeks, months and years, all fly by.  This is my favorite time of year, Autumn and Christmas time and I want it to last.  I also dread the heat and humidity ahead, it stifles me.  But I do try to live each day as it comes and appreciate it.  I do not wish time away.

Yes! It's insane how quick this year is going by....

  And I'm just the opposite as that lady on QVC, I forget her name...oh my gosh, dang I hate my brain sometimes....the one who loves summer and just dreads winter.

Anyway, I always dread summer and I feel it's super close now at the rate this year is going.

So yes I agree with @Kachina624  and @ciao_bella the summers coming and it makes me sick!

I know. The new year reminds me that another miserable hot summer will soon be here. Winter and cool weather seems so short and summer seems to last forever.

Cliche or not, but it seems the older we (or I anyway) get, the faster the year(s) go by.  Kind of sad, really.
