decaf,
You have made a very sound case for your theory. I am paying attention to you.

The Laundrie family hatched a plan to get Brian away and to a place where he will not be easily recognized. That is why everything that followed Gabby's death has been odd.
Escape plan by a committee of unprincipled, unscrupulous family members.
If this isn't what happened, I will be surprised.
p.s. He still could meet an untimely end (alligators, bandits, drug dealers he inadvertently stumbles upon as he flees or continues to flee during his lifetime) because he will most likely be in at-risk situations and locales as he evades the law.

Narcissists tend not to kill themselves, so I believe he is still alive. He will be found at some point. People just love to talk. That's how they will find him. His parents are bound to know something or they'd be very vocal about finding him. I hope the DA prosecutes his parents to the fullest extent of the law if this proves to be true.

@sunshine45
I did see that movie Bad Ronald in the 70s.
@bobby5 Yeah, but he left his flunky team there still working on the case and says he will be back! Oh well, we will see.

@golding76 Thanks, I've just been reading a lot and giving thought to what some internet sleuths are saying about the case. You're so right, this whole thing is just bizarre.
I believe this cold hearted family had a concrete plan and was well coached before the police knocked on their door on Sept 11.
What bothers me about this- who witnessed BL at his parent's Fl home on or about 9/1? Did the police put eyes on him when they went there 9/11 or did they just take the parent's word he was in the house? It seems it's all the parents, or their lawyer's word, on all of this. It's hard to trust a timeline without proven facts.
I think the NP police gave this family preferential treatment, including no surveillance, on a probable murder suspect. There's more surveillance on drug dealers than was on BL.
BL also has an uncle and aunt in New Bern, NC, originally from Garden City, LI, his father's older brother. I'm not saying they're involved but I believe his parents, with help from relatives, had the time and resources to hatch a plan for him to escape. And the $200K/day Fl swamp search is a big red herring, an insult to Fl taxpayers.
This is the only family who's never been on TV or to the media begging for help, never offered a reward and never bothered to search for their loved one on their own. If they don't find BL, I hope the feds get this family if they were involved.

Brian and his family were free to come and go as they pleased, including traveling to another country, up until he was charged with a crime and an arrest warrant issued.
The cause of death won't matter much, but the time of death will. Unfortunately, the delay in finding her body will make that disputable.

Makes me remember the Scott Peterson case. He stuck around and his parents stuck by him. Thought some drug cartel kidnapped Laci on Christmas Eve while he went fishing. So unplausable. I wonder how they feel now that he is in prison.

GOLDEN GATE:
Yes, that's what I've been saying to folks.
Narcissists usually don't do harm to themselves. They are very self-preservation types of people, from what I've observed.
('Me-me-me' types.) Only caring about themselves, and not necessarily caring one iota about others.
