Tornadoes are always a threat during tornado season since we are at the south end of Tornado Alley but it's been a long time since we've had rain from the outer bands of a hurricane. I haven't heard a rain total that it wouldn't surprise me if we got 3in today.  I think I've only turned on the sprinklers twice so far this season.

I have a second cousing who lives on a bayou in the Houston area.  She posted yesterday that they had flooding into their yard up to their pool.  They had electricity for quite awhile but finally lost it.  The last pictures she posted looked like the flooding had gone back down quite a bit.  I didn't see an update this morning but she said on her last FB post that they were conserving their phone batteries until they got their electricity back.

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, but Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.
