Just a request.   Curious minds like to know!

Don't really care where you live; don't know you!

Just wondering where it is snowing today.

When people post about weather, they aren't providing forecasts.  They are just discussing what's going on in their area and many posters don't want to give specific information about where they live.

If it's snowing, raining or 110 degrees where a poster lives, it doesn't matter to me where they live and it doesn't affect me.  The weather where I am is the only thing that really matters to me.

Short of giving my address and exact location I've often said Northern Virginia.  It's a big place.

Besides for $9.99 someone can find out about my entire life.  

There are very few things that are personal anymore.  It's all out there ..... like it or not.

All of that electronic stuff is constantly 'listening'.

I've done that before.  The first time I realized big brother was listening was when I was sitting at my daughter's kitchen table.  My teenage granddaughter was home from school.  I asked her if she was sick and she said she just had cramps from that time of month (something like that).

I no sooner got home that I started getting emails telling me about medicine and places that specialize in menstrual problems.  Oh!  Even variations of products for it.

I'm 73 years old!  It's been a long time since I've needed anything pertaining to that.

I think I gave my location away with photos of the River Walk and Alamo......😄

Have been enjoying beautiful weather....mornings in the upper 40's and upper 70's in the afternoon....but creeping up into the low 80's....we need RAIN!  Another cool front predicted for next Tuesday.....

To each her own.  But I just can't imagine how posting the general area you live in would compromise your information. I live in the New Orleans metro area. I'm not on Facebook or anything else like that, so I'm not sure how that would help anyone identify me?

BTW we have beautiful sunshine today, with not a cloud in the sky today - 64 degrees. I always enjoy hearing what the weather is like in everyone else's part of the country 💕
