Don't even know how to do it on my TV, never had to and hope I never will. LOL I do remember the old days when that was the only way to change the channel and then, pre cable, if you needed a tuning adjustment had to go to TV and mess with it.

Mine can't be changed (channels anyway) without the remote..there are no buttons for it...only for volume...

I actually just got up to check on our TV and can't find the power button let alone a way to change the channel. Maybe the remote is the only way.

Except for a few times when the batteries have died and I had no replacements, it was the fall of 1986 I believe........of course back then before we purchased cable there were only five channels available on "free" antenna tv.......
