You don't know you are in the majority until you click to see the results.
Maybe I am the only one who answers the daily homepage polls
Anyway, thanks for answering.
I understood what you meant. My answer is sometimes my opinion is with the majority, sometimes not, haven't noticed if it's more one way or another. ![]()

There are all types of polls and the most important thing to me is ""who is doing the polling"". I pretty much stick with independent pollsters and companies. Sometimes I am with the majority and sometimes I am not.

More often than not, none of the answers work for me!

I know what you're talking about. It depends on the poll though. Usually I am with the majority but sometimes not. You can't peek on the results until after you vote on some of the polls.

After you vote you can click on the results and it shows the percentage of how many voted and which one had the most votes. The poll gives you choices to vote on like I agree, I don't know etc. or just yes and no.

yes, you're correct but there are many forums that will tell their members to go fix* a poll once they have voted on and seen the results.
that's why i said that most online polls aren't useful because there is no method in tracking who has voted outside of using cookies and cookies can easily be removed.
*fix = skew.
I agree, there is no way to limit the number of times you can vote so someone can vote for something many times and make that the majority. I have seen some polls that only let you vote once and if you try to vote again it says you have already voted. They are rare though and there are ways to get around that too. That's why I don't always place a lot of value on polls. There are too many factors that can affect their accuracy. I always question the polls on the news shows too because of this.

I'm usually for the underdog.
The only times I was with the majority were 1992, 1996, 2008 and 20012.
